Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance.
Psalm 42:5 New King James Version (NKJV)
Jesus Loves Me Podcast
Intimacy & Relationship
Getting Closer to Jesus takes building a relationship with Him. It can be strange or difficult to do at first, but the time and energy is worth the effort. He loves you more than you will ever know.

NEW Jesus Loves Me Podcast
Knowing His Love
Sharon and Jana talk about their new Podcast and why they decided to launch it. Receiving Jesus’ love is a step in the right direction as we walk out our salvation.

Ephesians Part Three
Living Life Loved
Sharon and Jana review unity in the body of Christ and how we now have a new life in Jesus. We are to live in the Light as a critical form of spiritual warfare, and understand how we are to treat family, friends and co-workers. All of this while being aware of our spiritual armor and the fact that we aren’t fighting against the flesh but of spiritual influences.

Be Drawn By His Love
Draw me after you; let us run. The king has brought me into his chambers. [Others] We will exult and rejoice in you; we will extol your love more than wine; rightly do they love you.
Sng 1:4 ESV
LOOK UP!

Today we are living in uncertain times. We are in great places of self reflection and turmoil. There are questions on the table. How did we get here? What happened and what is really going on?
This country was built on hardship and endurance. The people had grit and an “I can do it spirit.” We still have it. Even if we were taken by surprise. There is no point in giving up or giving in. We still live in a country that is dedicated to God.
We have great God who will subvert the enemy, if we cry out. If we turn our hearts back to God, He will turn the tide. We can no longer be slack in calling out to our God and recommit our lives to Him. It is always darkest before the dawn which is now right before us. We are now in the new era of the Glory of God.
What we are seeing is the direct conflict between good and evil. Evil has been lurking and now has reared it’s ugly head. We are currently in the darkness and just beginning to wake up. We have not addressed evil for what it is. Here are a couple of quotes from Winston Churchill.
“We shall go forward together. The road upwards is stony. There are upon our journey dark and dangerous valleys through which we have to make and fight our way. But it is sure and certain that if we persevere – and we shall persevere – we shall come through these dark and dangerous valleys into a sunlight broader and more genial and more lasting than mankind has ever known.” ~ Winston Churchill
Man will occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of the time he will pick himself up and continue on. Winston Churchill
From Edmund Burke~“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”
In the word of God in Joel Chapter 2 verses 12-17 it states: Joel 2:12-17 KJV 12 Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye [even] to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: 13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he [is] gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. 14 Who knoweth [if] he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; [even] a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God? 15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: 16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. 17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where [is] their God?
The condition is we are now in a place where God is not number one in our lives and the world is overtaking us if we do not run back to our God and change our mind about where is in our lives.
The “heathen” in this verse are the ungodly people ruling over us with darkness not love.if we change our minds, God will remove the reproach.
When we cry out to Him and repent(change our minds) he will pour out His Spirit with a mighty outpouring on the whole world before His return.
In the following verses you will see it will also pour out on ALL people afterwards. After the change of hearts.
Joel Chapter 2 verses 18-19 and 28-29.
Joel 2:18-19 KJV 18 Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people. 19 Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
Joel 2:28-29 KJV 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
The Lord will be our protector and redeemer in this time.
Isaiah 60:1-3 KJV 1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
We have a great many things to look forward to. We must just keep LOOKING UP!
Let’s Love Each Other
36 “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?”
37 Jesus answered him, “‘Love the Lord your God with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, and with every thought that is within you.’ 38 This is the great and supreme commandment. 39 And the second is like it in importance: ‘You must love your friend[c] in the same way you love yourself.’ 40 Contained within these commandments to love you will find all the meaning of the Law and the Prophets.”
Matthew 22:36-40 The Passion Translation (TPT)
The Love of Revelation
The Vision of Christ
The book of Revelation is often seen as confusing, surreal or fanciful, but I assure you it’s not. It’s a book of pure love like the rest of the Word of God. It promises the next coming of Christ and tells us we can choose to “accept the water of life as a gift” for eternity (Rev. 22:17).
Revelation is the only book in Scripture that promises happiness seen in Chapter 1, Verse 3:
Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and who keep the things which are written in it [heeding them and taking them to heart]; for the time [of fulfillment] is near.
Revelation 1:3 Amplified Bible
The secrets hidden in Revelation’s symbolism were more easily understood at the time it was written, but we can cull its meaning through modern and personal exegesis. When we begin to understand what Revelation is telling us, we can’t help but see it as a love story. God wants us to return to Him and Revelation is the last call.
The Mysteries of His Love
Throughout Scripture we find mysteries. God’s plan of salvation is a mystery. Suffering and pain, persecution and martyrdom, sin and death are all mysterious subjects in the Word. And it’s a mystery how all of these topics relate to our salvation. This is where we need Holy Spirit to shine the light in the Word for us and where we need to have faith by trusting God has a plan and He’s working on it in our lives.
Why?
Because He loves us.
A Word from the Lord
Called to a Higher Level
Sometimes the Lord stops us with a Word of prophecy or knowledge, so we sit down and record. This Word came quickly after some praise and prayer and it’s a passionate plea for our true re-dedication to Jesus and the Kingdom of God in righteousness and holiness.
So, take what you like from the word and leave the rest with the Lord. Be blessed and stay safe.
Heart Connection

Song of Songs 1:2 KJV – 2 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love [is] better than wine.
Psalm 85:10 KJV – 10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed[H5401] [each other].
In our heart connection with God, the thought here is to also take that love we receive and be connected with love to our spouse and family. The Hebrew word for kiss here means to attach with fidelity, purity and submission. It also means we are mutually connected and joined together with righteousness which brings peace. This word also covers touch.
There is a physical connection with our families and close friends and a spiritual connection with God. The goal of both is intimacy and connection. In the heart connection, we are vulnerable which brings power, strength and pure love. The more vulnerable we are the more risk we take. The risk involves possible rejection and abandonment. This involves our hearts to be open to receive. Today I often find people have a very hard time receiving and believing that people are real and are open to love and be loved.
People are unwilling or do not know how to enter into relationship with God or their personal relationships because of fears. They become isolated and miss out on a very big part of life. They most likely are not connected to God with a real heart connection. This keeps them from having real relationship with others and especially the people closest to them. I realized that fear chokes the life out of love. Anywhere fear is present in life’s path, it prohibits moving forward and growth in love.
God from the very beginning in Genesis, created us for relationship. Genesis is a good book to start reading for foundations of God’s love for us. The whole word of God has to do with relationship in some form or another.
Our heart connection can often get blocked by our emotional realm. I have discovered that it is one of the primary factors in a disconnect or interference for us to receive from God. It colors the lense we see thru to see and interpret what is coming into our heart. This is the enemy’s main tactic is to insert fear and damage our emotions. The emotions actually soften our hearts and ignite the God given power of love that he wants to impart to us.
Our soul realm contains our mind/heart where the information stays when deposited. The next is our emotions which is like the radar or gate that tells our heart what to let in or not let in. The will is the seat of choice.
Identifying with the basic emotions of glad, sad and mad, brings some clarity in defining our heart condition. If we follow the encounters we have with people and what it evokes in us, we can identify what is keeping us from connecting. We may have a lot of work to do on our part in learning how to have relationship and change our behaviors with the help of God, Holy Spirit and Jesus. Reading the word breaks up the hard ground in our hearts and coming into worship. Worship breaks off fear and shame. It clears the atmosphere and breaks off pain. It heals and brings clarity. It gives us wisdom and deposits love into our hearts.
I am going to bring more on this heart connection in this blog. It is so important to Love God and ourselves and our neighbor. If we go down the road of an unattended heart it causes the disconnect from the source of all life. It brings illness, loneliness, heartache (more than necessary), hopelessness, depression, and lack of life-giving moments, days and lifetimes of love.
God loves us more than we can understand.
Luke 15:4 KJV – 4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
Matthew 18:12-14 KJV – 12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? 13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that [sheep], than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
John 10:10-11 KJV – 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
