Worship in All We Do
Yes, We Know. Now what?
“Our goal must be to empower others to do what is right and good for them, and to bring them into spiritual maturity.” — Romans 15:2 The Passion Translation (TPT)
This verse is one that we take very seriously. It’s our song. It’s our cry to the world as we navigate God’s love in Worship. It resonates in our hearts as servants of the Highest God. We want so much for the Bride of Christ to be ready for His return.
We work, eat, sleep and pray in Worship. We sing we dance, and we cry as we keep our eyes on Him.
Is it enough?
Is it righteous? Is it my truth? Only you can answer these questions. Can you say, “yes”? Can I?
God does have expectations for us regarding Worship.
God wants our whole being to Worship Him. We have learned in church that we must do everything for and to the Lord. We have experienced renewed minds as we consciously remember to Worship Him in our day. This is good. But have we surrendered all we can?
“Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord himself and not merely for others. For we know that we will receive a reward, an inheritance from the Lord, as we serve the Lord Yahweh, the Anointed One!” — Colossians 3:23-24 (TPT)
The beauty of this verse and what it really means is knowing that we will receive a reward from Jesus. Personally, I can forget that.
I can easily fall into the trap of only remembering verse 23. ♥
