Love and Thanks

Our gratitude for life really  is a heart choice for life!

Love makes the world go round and  is infectious and contagious.  Practicing the attitude of gratefulness for all that we have far outweighs the negative things or current problem we might have. Being grateful is glad, rejoicing, joyful, a merry heart and thankful.

When we focus on God and  give Him thanks, we are putting our hearts in the right frame of mind to receive, to love and be loved by Him. Being grateful keeps us humble to know God created us and everything He gives us. He is a good Father who gives us good gifts.

I am always grateful for all that he has given me. I now he loves me and gives me the best of everything. I am grateful for what I even know is ahead of me.

Gratefulness does not make any room for the enemy to divert your attention to the enemy which does not give life.

Science has proven that being thankful more often leads to more positive outcomes and more thankfulness.

Purpose: Thankful for God’s Purpose

Everyone has a Purpose whether they believe it or not.

We need to know our purpose in order fully walk in who we are in Christ Jesus. Finding our purpose is hardwired into our DNA—some people ignore the unction to seek out their call and some are filled with an insatiable drive ask the question, “Who am I?”

However, it’s not enough to know our identity, we need to understand our identity IN Christ. To know who we are in Him expands our awareness, and our ability to love, from ourselves to others and back.

Remember, Jesus said this:

Matthew 22:36-40

“Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” Jesus answered him, “‘Love the Lord your God with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, and with every thought that is within you.’ This is the great and supreme commandment. And the second is like it in importance: ‘You must love your friend in the same way you love yourself.’ Contained within these commandments to love you will find all the meaning of the Law and the Prophets.”

To know ourselves means we can know God and others. Then, we can love more deeply, purely, godly and holy. This is our overall purpose.

Made in His Image

Our identity began in Genesis when God made us in His image. We must know God—His character, His commandments, His names, His love for us, Jesus, Holy Spirit—in order to know ourselves (If you need help understanding who you are, study the Scriptures by searching the internet for “Who am I in Christ Jesus.” There is a lot of help there.).

God has hundreds of names in the Bible (Another topic of study on Identity.). We are to reflect those names in our character, values and daily life. This is part of His plan for us, this is how He designed us.

The Culture Of Death

We live in a Culture of Death that we have become far to acquainted with. Jesus Christ died on the cross for us to have life and more abundantly.                      John 10:10

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

In this scripture it is very clearly defined that the thief, (Satan) has come to defy the life that God sent for us. Jesus was sent to do a specific job and to was to give us life.

When we are conceived a miraculous  thing occurs where two cells form a human being.  A newer in vitro  technique surprisingly shows a zinc lightning flash as the egg is fertilized. Zap!! Life has come forth.

Creativity: Thankful for God’s Spirit

Everyone is creative whether they believe it or not.

We are made in God’s image; He creates and so do we. It’s time to step-up and stand in who we are made to be, and a big part of that is to exercise our creativity. First, we need to understand it.

Creativity is defined on Wikipedia as: a phenomenon whereby something new and somehow valuable is formed. The created item may be intangible (such as an idea, a scientific theory, a musical composition, or a joke) or a physical object (such as an invention, a literary work, or a painting).

A phenomenon. What a great word to use for the Creative Spirit. When we engage in creativity we are healed, we are informed, we are enlightened, we escape into all the devil hates about humanity. We find solutions for all manner of life’s problems and we learn to love from God’s perspective. Yes, creativity can do all of that.

We must understand that artists aren’t the only creative people on the planet. They have talents and skills focused on art industries, but they are not alone. Mothers and fathers are creative in parenting, Mechanics are creative in building, pilots are creative in flying, chefs are creative in cooking, doctors are creative in healing, and list goes on. As a matter of fact, you are creative too.
