Advancing God’s Kingdom Together

So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied.

What The World Needs Now

I asked God today what He wanted you to know. He said tell them I LOVE THEM! I was thinking, yes, but how do you relay God’s heart on that subject.? Especially in such a fallen world as we see today. His heart is so BIG. His heart is inviting us to all come in…

Renewing Our Minds

Moment by Moment

Did you know that our brains are being more and more understood as technology and research advance? Our brains can adjust as we prioritize new modes of thinking due to their plasticity. Wide pathways can be narrowed, and narrow paths can become wider. The wider the pathway, the faster we find the information we want to recall.

The Bible says that as we become new in Christ Jesus, we can renew our minds. As we become more spiritually minded, we create wider and healthier pathways in our brains for spiritual and righteous matters. Pathways in our brains, such as those that speak to our identities, become wider as we learn more about who we are in Christ Jesus. Pathways, such as worry, become narrower as we stop worrying. And there are pathways we are hardwired to experience in life, such as the ability to love, create, and walk in our purpose.

We’re Just Sharon & Jana and our goal is to help people to heal righteous pathways in the brain and become spiritually healed and healthy to mature in Christ. As we mature, we are more capable of advancing the Kingdom of God here on earth today. We can advance God’s Kingdom by establishing the truth about who God is and how He affects our lives daily. We establish truths by the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Take time today to renew your mind. Listen to the Word of God and visit our Shop Books page for titles you may find helpful.

The Creative Process

It doesn’t matter where we come from or where we’ve been in life, we are all creative. It doesn’t matter what we look like, what language we speak, or where we are at in the world, we are all creative. We are taught in this world that being creative means we must be artists or craftsmen of some kind which is not true. The truth is that we all are creative because we are all human beings.

We all can and do things in creative ways, such as figuring out what to wear, organizing our fridge, or planning that meeting. Creativity is behind everything we do, and more creativity is available to make positive changes in our lives. If we want to make change happen in our lives, we can use creativity and the Creative Process to do so. Learn more about creativity and the Creative Process in Jana’s book, Hardwired for Creativity: Art Supplies for the Mind, available on Amazon Books.

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

The Desires of Our Hearts

God created in us a void only He can fill, and He also made us just as we are for a reason. We all have a calling and purpose to fulfill in this lifetime. We each have a specific destiny to discover and experience. We are uniquely designed with special gifts, talents, and skills to accomplish our purpose while we’re here on earth.

We start walking in our purpose when we discover what it is God wants us to do, and then we must take action. We are all on a path that God reveals to us over time. God will supply us with every need to move into our calling and purpose. We just have to have faith and trust Him.

The good news is that everything is possible with Christ Jesus. It’s all possible. We can discover who we are and what we were created to do here on earth at this time in history. We can also find joy in life along the way.
